Neil received his Bachelor of Arts in Classics and Philosophy and his Master of Arts in Ancient Societies and Cultures both from the University of Alberta. In 2018, Neil graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta and articled at a criminal defence firm in Edmonton. Neil joined Kurie Law Group in 2019 and maintains a general criminal law practice. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta as well as the Criminal Trial Lawyers Association of Alberta.
In Law School Neil volunteered with Student Legal Services of Edmonton, helping dozens of individuals from Edmonton’s low-income community and beginning to run criminal trials in his first summer of law school. Neil served as the organization’s Executive Coordinator for the year of 2018 and continues to volunteer with the organization, currently serving on the board of directors.
